Freitag, 03.Oktober 2014 - 7:59 - HDD Telemach Olimpija Ljubljana tries to get the first win in Linz since February 2011 or ten games. Fehervar AV19 tries to extend their good home-series vs. Vienna. Znojmo plays in Salzburg, that won so far all 6 games. Villach hosts Bozen, both clubs had problems lately. And G99 and HCI try to extend their winning-series.

Fehervar AV19 hosts UPC Vienna Capitals on Friday. The Devils lost their last two games against Graz (1:4) and EC Red Bull Salzburg (0:7). Salzburg scored against the Hungarians five goals within seven minutes and also Graz was able to score two goals within 27 seconds. Also Vienna lost against Red Bull lately and stayed without points for the first time this season. But the Capitals already re-turned on the winning-street on Sunday against Villach. On Friday the Caps now travel to Szekesfehervar, where they did not win since 1st November 2011 or five games. Their Headcoach Tom Pokel, however, won as a Coach with Graz 2007/08 and last year with Bozen all games in Szekesfehervar so far! The first duel between the two teams this season won Vienna with 6:3, now Fehervar wants revenge at home.

Quotes:
Rob Pallin, Head Coach of Fehervar AV19: "We must be able to weather the storm, when a team scores against us. There is no excuse for a team to score five goals against us in seven minutes. Everybody on the team knows that we have a big task ahead of us on Friday against Vienna In our last game against Vienna the second and third periods were very competitive against a very good opponent. We must pay close attention to their three top forwards and we must be very committed on not giving the opposition any chances on our part. We must find a chance on Friday to win!"

Tom Pokel, Headcoach UPC Vienna Capitals, warns: "It is never easy in Hungary!"

Injury report:
Fehérvár is still missing two of their top four defensemen, Bence Szirány and Arnold Varga and the team also has some forwards that are struggling with injuries. On the other side Forward Dustin Sylvester is making his comeback for Vienna, while Benoit Gratton is still out and former Fehervar-player Adam Naglich is a question-mark.

Ljubljana wants to end bad series in Linz
HDD Telemach Olimpija Ljubljana does not have good memories of Linz. Ljubljana, that won the last time on 11th February 2011 in Linz, fights for the first road-win this season and the end of a bad series.

Quotes: Rob Daum, Head Coach EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz: "We didn't play much at home so far this season. We watched our opponent on video: Olimpija won just one game, but they do not play badly. We are not allowed to take them lightly!"
David Planko, Defenseman HDD Telemach Olimpija Ljubljana: "There's a tough away game at Linz ahead of us. We'll have to be ready to fight right from the start and play a solid defensive game. In order to win we'll have to win the important duels and block shots. Linz has a great team. But if those things go our way we can bring the points back to Ljubljana."

Injury report:
