Sonntag, 27.August 2017 - 8:55 - On Saturday EC-KAC lost in the Champions Hockey League (CHL) at Champion Frölunda Gothenburg after a strong performance with 1:2.

EC-KAC impressed with a strong performance over 60 minutes in their Champions Hockey League-game at Frolunda Gotenburg. But in minute 19 the Swedish club had a 5-on-3-Power Play, in which Joel Lundqvist scored the 1:0 for the hosts. Then quickly after the second re-start Klagenfurt striked back: After just 12 seconds Matt Neal made the 1:1. But the CHL-Champion from 2016 and 2017 had the better end thanks a goal from Pontus Widerström in minute 50. The Austrians got chances to come back, but missed two Power Plays in the last ten minutes and also could not scored 6-on-5 in the finish of the game.

Frölunda Gothenburg (SWE) - EC-KAC 2:1 (1:0,0:0,1:1)
