Sonntag, 19.November 2017 - 9:19 - On Sunday five games are on the schedule in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, inter alia the Tyrolean derby at Bozen and the east-derby at Vienna. After a two week break also HC Orli Znojmo is in action again.

Sun, 19.11.2017: HCB Südtirol Alperia – HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“ (16:00)
Referees: BERNEKER, TRILAR, Sparer, Zgonc.

>>The Tyrolean Derby - HCB Südtirol Alperia vs. HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“ - is on the schedule in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga for the 22nd time on Sunday at Bozen. While the „Foxes“ were successful already 16 times, the Sharks left so far just five times the ice as the winner. But take attention: In the last two meetings Innsbruck had the upper hand in the end. In all 21 Tyrolean derbys so far the winner was found in regular time. For the Austrians it will be the second derby with-in 70 hours, Tyler Spurgeon and Co. won on Thursday the west-derby against the Dornbirn Bulldogs 4:1. The Italians on the other side were defeated by EC Red Bull Salzburg 2:3 in their first match after the International Break on Friday at home.

>>At home HCB Südtirol Alperia won so far all ten Tyrolean derbys in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.

>>HCB Südtirol Alperia had problems so far this season: The Italians are the bottom-club. Besides the „Foxes“ collected also at home the fewest number of points (12) and wins (4) from nine games so far. Besides the South Tyroleans are the only team without a win and points in November. But also Innsbruck had problems so far on the road: The North Tyroleans won just three from nine road-games, lately the Sharks lost twice away from home.

>>Andrew Yogan returns on Sunday with Innsbruck for the first time as an opponent to Bozen. The US-Center, who played 2016/17 for the „Foxes“, convinced so far at Innsbruck and leads with 26 points (9 goals and 17 Assists; Plus-Minus: +7) the scoring-statistic in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.

>>In Tyrolean derbys many goals are scored: In 21 meetings were made already 143 goals, in average 6,81 goals per game! In the last 13 meetings at least five goals were scored. The first season-clash Innsbruck won at home with 5:3.

>>Vienna Capitals and HC Orli Znojmo will face on Sunday at Kagran in the east-derby. The cities of Vienna and Znojmo are just 90 kilometres away from each other.

>>HC Orli Znojmo makes their first game since 14 days. All other teams were in action already after the International Break. Two weeks ago the „Red Eagles“ beat Innsbruck at home after Overtime and ended their bad run. The Vienna Capitals on the other side lost their first match after the break to Fehervar AV19 at home 0:1, even they had 43:23-shots. For the Leader it meaned the second home-defeat in a row.

>>The Czechs try to end their bad road-run on Sunday at Kagran. The „Red Eagles“ lost their last four road-games. To Vienna the Czechs come with good memories, there they won the last clash at the beginning of this year.

>>The last four meetings between Vienna and Znojmo were close games and ended by just one goal difference. The first season-clash Champion Vienna Capitals won at Znojmo with 4:3.

>>US-Center Adam Miller is looking forward to his first game for HC Orli Znojmo. The 32-years old US-Forward played already for KHL Medvescak Zagreb and Dornbirn Bulldogs in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. He should help the ninth placed Czechs to be more effectiv in front of the net. So far the Czechs scored 51 goals from 19 games.

>>With Fehervar AV19 arrives the team of the hour on Sunday at Villach! The Hungarians won their last four games in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, which is the longest winning-streak of all clubs. Besides the Devils are the only team, that is still unbeaten in November and also collected the maximum of nine points!

>>The Hungarians played strong defense lately, received just four goals in their last four matches. Twice, inter alia on Friday at Vienna, goalie MacMillan Carruth celebrated even a Shut-out.

>>EC VSV tries to defend a good home-record against Fehervar AV19! The Eagles won their last seven home-games, including one PreSeason-game in August 2016, against the Hungarians. Fehervar, that won the first season-clash at home 3:0, is without a win at the Drau City since 03.03.2015 or 991 days.

>>EC VSV lost their first game after the International Break at Graz 2:5. The Eagles scored just twice, even they had 38 shots. Villach could not break their series, which looks now like this from the last 13 games: D/D/W/W/D/D/W/W/D/D/W/W/D… At home the Eagles got points from their last three games (two wins), but also here win and defeat rotated since middle of September.

>>With Villach and Fehervar AV19 the two youngest teams in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga face each other: The Eagles in average are 25.11 years old, the Hungarians 24,79 years young!

>>With Dornbirn Bulldogs and EHC Liwest Black Wings Linz two clubs, who had the same results in the last five rounds (W/D/W/D/D), will face on Sunday at Dornbirn. Lately both teams lost twice, so they will try to return on the winning-street on Sunday.

>>Both teams had problems to score lately, made totally just three goals in their last two matches.

>>The Black Wings won the last five meetings with the Dornbirn Bulldogs. The Upper Austrians left Voarlberg lately three times in a row as the winner. The Bulldogs on the other side are waiting already since January 17th 2016 or 671 days for a home-win against BWL.

>>The Black Wings need at least one point at Dornbirn to overtake place 2 from EC-KAC, that is not playing on Sunday, again.

>>Both teams were successful in their first match after the International Break: EC Red Bull Salzburg won at Bozen 3:2 and the Moser Medical Graz99ers beat EC VSV after an offensive-game (42:38-shots) at home with 5:2.
