Linz and Innsbruck battle for second place in the EBEL

Sonntag, 22.Oktober 2017 - 7:21 - After 13 rounds the battle for the first runner up place is getting closer and closer. The Black Wings are one point ahead and can confirm this place with win in Fehervar. But Innsbruck is in lurkng-position and may take the second place with a win against Salzburg. In the midfield of the standings the 99ers are facing the EC-KAC, who is trailing by two points.

•99ers won first battle of the season with 4:2
•Duel of neigbours in standings. KAC is trailing by two points
•The 99ers won the past five home games, the KAC lost the last two games on the road

Thomas Hundertpfund, Spieler KAC: „The home win against Dornbirn pushed us. Not only because of the three points, but the way we captured them. We played our game for 60 minutes. Of course, it would be much easier if we act more efficient in front of the goal, but this will come soon. We aim to keep going our way and to take revenge for the defeat in the first round.”
