Zell awaits AHL leader Ritten, prosecutors are at home

Samstag, 25.November 2017 - 9:20 - On Saturday seven Alps Hockey League games will be played. While table-topper Rittner Buam travel to Zell am See, the first persecuators Jesenice and Asiago have home advantage. With Cortina and Feldkirch they meet another two teams who are on playoff course. On Sunday, the second-placed Slovenes are in action again when welcoming EC-KAC II.

25.11.2017, 18:00: HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice - S.G. Cortina Hafro
Referees: LESNIAK, OFNER, Bärnthaler, Miklic

Jesenice booked a clear 11:1 success against the EC KAC II recently and confirmed the first runner ip position in the Alps Hockey League. Cortina had to take an unreckoned defeat against Neumarkt a few days ago and dropped to the 8th place. It was the second defeat in a row in overtime or penalty shoot-out. The first duel of these two teams went to the Slovenians.

25.11.2017, 19:00: HC Neumarkt Riwega - HC Fassa Falcons
Referees: LEGA, MISCHIATTI, F. Giacomozzi, Terragni

The HC Neumarkt booked a big overtime win against Cortina a few days ago. The forward Jakub Muzik found the decision after 22 seconds of overtime and captured the 15th place of standings for his team. The Falcons are currently one place ahead with a difference of five points. After their unreckoned win against Ljubljana the Falcons got defeat by Lustenau. In the first battle of these two teams Fassa booked a 4:3 success.

25.11.2017, 19:30: EK Zeller Eisbären - Rittner Buam
Referees: GRUMSEN, KUCHER, Bedynek, Haurum

The Zeller Eisbären lost the past three games in Alps Hockey League and dropped to the 10th place after a promising season start. Against the leader of the league things will not become easier. The Rittner Buam won the past two games and celebrated a 4:1 success in the first duel against the Eisbären back in October.

25.11.2017, 19:30: WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan - EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau
Referees: HÖLLER, VIRTA, Bedana, Kainberger

Lustenau won the past two games and connected to the midfield of the league again. Both, offensive and defensive lines seem to good in shape at the moment, as they scored 13 goals and received only one goal at their latest wins. The Broncos had a winning streak of three games, before they lost against Kitzbühel a couple of days ago. The Italiens still are on a top-6 place, but further teams are already in the lurking position. In the first duel of these two teams Sterzing booked a close overtime win.

25.11.2017, 20:00: HC Pustertal Wölfe - EC 'Die Adler' Stadtwerke Kitzbühel
Referees: LAZZERI, RUETZ, Piras, Tschrepitsch

Pustertal had a four games winning streak before they had to a 0:2 defeat against Ljubljana. Kitzbühel ended a four games losing streak a couple of days ago. In the first duel this season Kitzbühel booked an 6:5 overtime win. In the standings Kitzbühel is on the 10th place and trailing by 7 points to the foxes.

25.11.2017, 20:30: HC Gherdeina valgardena.it - EC KAC II
Referees: KAMSEK, MORI Bergant, Rigoni

The EC-KAC II captured its second point of the season before they had to take a 1:11 blow out against Jesenice a few days later. Gherdeina booked four wins so far in the running season – one out of this four wins was against the KAC back in October.

25.11.2017, 20:30: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey - FBI VEU Feldkirch
Referees: MOSCHEN, STRASSER, Egger, Kalb

On Saturday Feldkirch travels to Asiago. It's another chance for the team of head coach Michael Lampert to get a win against last season's runners-up as Asiago has won all eight AHL eight against the Austrians so far. In this season's first meeting it was an open game until the halfway point, in the end the Italians earned a 4:1 win with two power play goals. They have a lot of individual quality in their team with forwards Marco Rosa and Anthony Bardaro together having gained more than 50 points this season. Kristof Reinthaler will be back in the VEU lineup, while Dennis Sticha left the club towards Klagenfurt.

26.11.2017, 18:00: HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice - EC KAC II
Referees: DURCHNER, LENDL, Bizalj, Libiseller

The first runner-up of the league is hosting the young farm team of the EC-KAC. After the KAC II captured its second point one week ago, they had to take a clear defeat against Jesenice. Only a couple of days after that, the redjackets aim to take revenge.
