Montag, 07.August 2017 - 18:04 - New arrivals at HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, HC Fassa Falcons, EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, HC Neumarkt RIWEGA, HC Pustertal „Wolves“. Plus contract extensions at Asiago, Fassa and Neumarkt.

Two new arrivals at Bruneck
Canadian Sean Ringrose is new Center at HC Pustertal „Wolves“. The 29 years old Forward lead Rapaces de GAP last season with 57 points (20G/37A, Plus-Minus: +25) from 57 games to the title in France! Before Ringrose played in Europe already for EC VSV in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga and the Dundee Stars in the EIHL. Besides Italian Alexander Kinkelin will be one of the goalies at Bruneck 2017/18.The 31 years old keeper played lately for Brixen/Bressanone in Austrias fourth League.

Swedish Youngster joins „Eagles“
Swedish power for EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel! Youngster Henrik Eriksson joins the "Eagles" for the 2017/18-season. For the 21 years old Forward the Tyrolean city will be his first station away from his home-country. Eriksson promoted this year with Mora IK from Allsvenskan to SHL. Besides the Center played in his youth already for Brynäs IF, Södertälje SK or Östersunds IK.

Much Italian offensive-power for HC Neumarkt RIWEGA! New arrivals and back in Italy are the young Italian Forwards Philip Davanzo (lately ESV Kaufbeuren), David Galassiti (lately EC Red Bull Salzburg U18), Andre Maino (lately Boston Jr. Bandits) and Alex Gasser (lately EV Regensburg U19). Besides the club extended the contracts with the Italian offensive-players David Braito, Marian Pallabazzer, Tobia Pisetta, Martin Graf, Florian Wieser, Michael Sullmann and Czech Jakub Muzik.

Tavzelj returns, Piispanen with Try Out at Jesenice Andrej Tavzelj returns after six years to HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice! The 33 years old, strong defenseman, who played already 2011/12 for the Red Steelers, brings much experience to the team, he defended already for clubs in Italy (Cortina, Pontebba), Slovakia (HK SKP Poprad), France, where he was Champion with Rouen 2013 and 2014 and he also spend the last season with Angers), Russia (Toros Neftekamsk) and for big rival HDD Olimpija Ljubljana and the Steel Citizens in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Besides Tavzelj is also Slovenian National team player, 2017 he participated with Team Slovenia at the World Championships in Köln.

New at HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice is also Markus Piispanen. The Fin joins the „Red Steelers“ on a Try Out. The 28 years old Forward played so far nearly his whole career successfully in Finnlands second highest League: Piispanen became already twice (2011, 2012) Mestis-Champion with Vaasan Sport , 2016 he also reached the finals with Kajaanin Hokki and past season he lead Espoo United as Assistant Captain with 38 points (15G/23A) from 57 games to place 3 on Finnlands second highest hockey-level. Totally the Forward scored so far 194 points (78G/116A) from 317 Mestis-games.

Cloutier stays goalie at Asiago Frederic Cloutier stays goalie at Vice-Champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935! The 36 years old Italo-Canadian was a key-player for the "Yellow/Reds" past season, he catched 93% of totally 1.647 shots on his net and had a GAA of 2,19 from 53 games or 3155,15 minutes! Besides Cloutier is also Italian National keeper.

Power-Forward starts European career at Fassa, Talent stays
New player at HC Fassa Falcons is Power-Forward Sam Rothstein. The US-American starts in Italy his Europa-career. The 23 years old Center spend the last four seasons with the Colorado College in the NCAA, scoring 61 points from 137 games and made last season also eight games and five points for Rapid City Rush in the ECHL.
With defenseman Marco Marzolini one of the biggest Italian hockey-talents stays another year at HC Fassa Falcons. The Captain of the Italian U20 National Team made for the Falcons past season 33 games in the Alps Hockey League and scored five points (1G/4A).
