Donnerstag, 15.Juni 2017 - 5:43 - HC Gherdeina valgardena.it presented with Lee Gilbert (CAN) their new Headcoach. Norwegian YoungStar Martin Gran joins EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. Plus: Contract extensions at EC Bregenzerwald and EK Zeller Eisbären.

New Coaches at Gherdeina
Lee Gilbert becomes new Head Coach at HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. The Canadian coached the last two seasons the Hungarian club Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak, that participates in the MOL-League. 2016/17 the 59 years old Canadian lead the team into the Playoffs. New Assistant Coach will be Tommi Flinck. The 45 years old Fin worked lately two seasons in France at Cergy as a Head Coach.

Norwegian YoungStar joins Kitzbühel
From Storhamar to EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel! With Martin Gran one of the biggest talents in ice hockey in Norway joins the Eagles. The 20-years old Forward made past season 50 games for his home-club in the Get Ligaen (Norways highest League) and scored there nine points (5G/4A). 2014/15 Gran became Vice-Champion and Rookie of the Year in Norway and 2015/16 he participated with Storhamar in the Champions Hockey League already.

Contract extensions at Zell am See
After Tobias Dinhopel now also his older brother Florian Dinhopel extended his contract at EK Zeller Eisbären. The 30 years old Forward scored for the Polar Bears last season eleven points (6G/5A) from 36 SKY Alps Hockey League-games. Dinhopel will head into his 3rd season with the Polar Bears. Besides young defenseman Albert Krammer, who scored for EK Zeller Eisbären 2016/17 four Assists in Austrians second highest League, stays at Pinzgau.

First contract extension at Bregenzerwald David Mitgutsch stays at EC Bregenzerwald. The defenseman played so far his whole career for the "Wälder", highlights were the two Inter National League titles with his home-club 2013 and 2016. Past season the 29-years old Austrian made 35 games for the west-club in the SKY Alps Hockey League and scored one goal.
